ATTENTION VIKING SOFTBALL!!

After a nail biting come from behind win on Tuesday night against Carson High School your Lady Vikings advance to the Third Round of the state playoffs at home on Thursday night at 5:00PM against Weddington High School at Central Park. Please bring family and friends out to support your Lady Vikings on Thursday night.

Please note the game time change to 05:00PM due to the Senior Awards Night.

ATTENTION VIKING SOFTBALL!!

The 2012 softball season has begun.  Please be at the field ready to go at 3:00 everyday.  Practice will run to 6:00PM.  In the event of inclement weather we will utilize the auxiliary gym.  Listen to the announcements, check your email, and check this website if you are unsure about the indoor schedule.  We share the gym with baseball and the schedule will be the same as last year.  If it is an even numbered day we will be in the gym first and on odd days we will be in the gym late.  It would be a good idea to keep a pair of tennis shoes with you everyday.  Cleats will not be allowed inside the gym.

2012 College Signings

Softball player Tori Cragan signed her letter of intent to attend Chowan University on Thursday, November 10 at Central Cabarrus High School.

Softball player Mellena Helms signed her letter of intent to attend USC Upstate on Thursday, November 10 at Central Cabarrus High School.

Attention Viking Softball Fans, Family, and Alumni!

The Viking softball team has been working to cover the batting cages at the softball field.  The framework has been installed and we need to raise an additional $3500.00 to finish the roof.  We would love to have this completed by the end of the school year.

We started a fundraiser this week selling cases of drinks through Sun Drop Bottling Co.  The team makes $5.00 per case so please sell as many as possible.  Please have the girls make contact with their teachers at school.  The teachers really have supported us in the past.  We will collect the orders next Friday April 01, and the drinks will be delivered the next week.

We are also asking past and present families, fans and team members to donate to the completion of the project.  We are setting up donation levels as follows.

  $1 -  $20   =  Base Hit

$21 -  $50   =  Double

$51 -  $100  =  Triple

$101 - $250 =  Home Run

$251+   =     Grand Slam
